About this program

Pollock-Krasner Foundation offers unrestricted grants up to $50,000 to exceptional professional visual artists—primarily painters, sculptors, and artists who work on paper—to support activities such as creating new work, studio rent, exhibitions, residencies, and living expenses over a one-year period. Applicants must have a professional exhibition history and be actively exhibiting current work in professional gallery or museum venues; the Foundation does not fund students or work categorized as commercial art, graphic art, video, generative art, performance, filmmaking, craft, or photography. Apply online on a rolling basis with a cover letter, artist statement, current CV/exhibition record, and ten high-quality digital images (completed within the past ten years) with an image list; completed applications are reviewed by a specialist panel (typically a 9–12 month process), and reapplicants must wait 12 months from a prior decision or the end of a grant.
