About this program

The Pelotonia Postdoctoral Candidate Scholars Program at The Ohio State University provides two‑year research awards to support promising postdoctoral candidates pursuing independent cancer research across disciplines, from traditional biomedical fields to engineering, computer science, business and the humanities. Applicants should be recently graduated PhD holders or current postdoctoral candidates from anywhere in the world with a clear cancer‑focused research plan and mentor support; the program seeks scholars at a pivotal career stage to develop skills and competitive funding portfolios. Applications are accepted twice yearly (spring cycle roughly Jan 15–Feb 15 and fall cycle roughly Jun 15–Jul 15), are rigorously reviewed by the Pelotonia Scholars Program Committee, and are highly competitive.
