Prairie Ronde Artist Residency (5–6 week residency at The Mill in Vicksburg, MI)

The Prairie Ronde Artist Residency, hosted by The Mill at Vicksburg, provides a 5-6 week immersive experience for artists to engage with the historic site and its 80-acre surroundings. Residents receive a $2,000 stipend, a $500 travel grant, private housing, and opportunities to share their work with the community, culminating in a donation of a piece to the permanent collection. Eligibility is open to highly independent, engaged, and curious artists from various disciplines, including collaborative teams (though the stipend must be shared), with international applications temporarily suspended as of April 15, 2023. Applications for Spring, Summer, and Fall sessions require a $25 fee and are reviewed by a panel, followed by an interview with the Residency Director and Coordinator.
