President of the Year Award

About this program

The Association of College Unions International (ACUI) offers the President of the Year Award to recognize senior campus leaders who advance the ideals of the college union and student activities profession through relationship-building, community engagement, and support for student success. The award honors one president whose leadership elevates the role of the college union and ensures it has a voice in institutional decision-making. Nominees must be presidents at ACUI member institutions and demonstrate campus- and community-wide leadership, support for staff and students, and engagement beyond their administrative role. Nominations are due November 20 and must include nominee and nominator information, two to three support letters, and a summary of the nominee’s professional experience and service.
