President's Research Initiative Award

About this program

The American Association of Neuromuscular & Electrodiagnostic Medicine (AANEM), supported by donations to the American Neuromuscular Foundation, offers the President's Research Initiative Award to up to 10 first-author abstract presenters whose submissions best address the AANEM President’s annual meeting plenary topic; each award includes $500, recognition in the annual meeting abstract guide and at the meeting, and publication of the abstract in Muscle & Nerve. Applicants must be the first author and designated abstract presenter, submit an abstract related to the plenary topic between January 1 and March 15, and indicate intent to apply during the abstract submission process. Abstracts are judged on connection to the plenary topic, innovation, and quality, and recipients are required to present at the AANEM Annual Meeting.
