Primary Care Strategies for the Promotion of Early Literacy and Early Childhood Development

The Academic Pediatric Association, with support from Reach Out and Read, offers up to $50,000 over two years for collaborative research on primary care–based interventions that promote early literacy and early childhood development. Proposed studies must include Reach Out and Read and related programs and align with the missions of both organizations. Applicant teams must comprise investigators from at least two active Reach Out and Read sites and demonstrate meaningful collaboration in research development, implementation, and dissemination.
