The American Chemical Society Younger Chemists Committee offers the Priscilla Carney Jones Scholarship, a one‑time minimum award of $1,500 (potentially higher subject to available funding) paid to the recipient’s financial aid office for tuition, books, and lab fees to support female undergraduate chemistry or chemistry‑related majors. Eligible applicants are rising juniors or seniors enrolled full‑time at an accredited U.S. college or university, U.S. citizens or permanent residents, with a minimum overall GPA of 3.25, who have completed or plan to conduct undergraduate research, demonstrate financial need, and are not planning to attend medical school. Application requires multiple personal statements (applicant, community service, leadership, future goals), a research summary and list of presentations/publications, resume/CV, institutional award letter itemizing costs and other aid, a reference form and letter from an academic/research advisor, and an estimated unmet need; all materials must be received by May 1.
