Professional Community Awards for Excellence

About this program

The International Society for Heart and Lung Transplantation (ISHLT) offers Professional Community Awards for Excellence to recognize research and professional achievement across its ten interdisciplinary Professional Communities. Up to ten awards are presented annually to finalists with the highest-scoring abstracts selected for oral presentation, and each recipient receives complimentary registration for the following year’s ISHLT Annual Meeting. Applicants must be current ISHLT members and members of an eligible Professional Community, and must be the abstract’s first author and presenter. Eligible authors are automatically considered based on their primary Professional Community; previous winners in this category are ineligible.
