Professional Performance Grant

About this program

The Kurt Weill Foundation for Music offers the Professional Performance Grant to support performances of musical works by Kurt Weill and Marc Blitzstein. Funding is available for professional opera companies, theater companies, dance companies, orchestras, ensembles, and other concert groups, with priority given to additional costs specific to the works or their presentation. Applicants must present the works in their original versions or authorized arrangements, excluding compilation properties, concerts of individual songs, and incidental music. Applications are due annually on November 1 for projects taking place between January 1 of the following year and July 1 of the year after, with an additional June 1 deadline for college/university performance grants.
