About this program
The Yawkey Foundation offers Program & Small Capital Grants of up to $100,000 to support nonprofit organizations in delivering high-impact, timebound projects aligned with their core missions. These grants address immediate needs critical to an organization's work, such as discrete programs, small projects, or equipment purchases.
Eligible applicants are nonprofit organizations, with a limit of one Initial Proposal per calendar year. Priority is given to organizations demonstrating strong leadership, proven impact, and a focus on unmet needs in underserved regions, particularly Gateway Cities in Eastern Massachusetts. Organizations not previously funded by the Foundation are encouraged to apply.
