Project Accelerator: Technology & Society

About this program

Catapult Film Fund, with support from Luminate, offers the Project Accelerator initiative for nonfiction filmmakers developing urgent, story-driven documentaries about technology’s impact on society. Up to four selected projects may receive development grants of up to $50,000, along with dedicated strategic advising. Eligible applicants must propose documentary features or shorts in development or early production—not docuseries—with a global or international scope, preferably centering under-represented communities and examining technology’s effects on human rights, democracy, gender, race, climate, or related social issues.
