Public Engagement and Outreach Grants

About this program

The Anatomical Society offers Public Engagement and Outreach Grants to support members’ public engagement and outreach activities in anatomy (launched June 2018); funding amounts are unspecified and awards are made in five rounds per year. Deadlines occur two weeks before each Council meeting and application forms/guidelines are available from the Executive Administrator (headoffice@anatsoc.org.uk). Applicants must be fully paid‑up Anatomical Society members in good standing for at least one year by the application deadline, with annual subscriptions up to date; only one grant may be applied for per financial year (1 Oct–30 Sep) and previous‑year awardees must wait one financial year before reapplying. Grants may not be used for honoraria/pay for speakers, staff, demonstrators or volunteers, for food and drink receptions, or for university/institutional recruitment or marketing events.
