R. Bob Smith, III, Ph.D., Excellence in Psychological Assessment Award and Workshop

The Society of Clinical Child and Adolescent Psychology (SCCAP, Division 53 of APA) presents the annual R. Bob Smith, III, Ph.D., Excellence in Psychological Assessment Award to recognize individuals or organizations that have made significant evidence-based contributions to psychological assessment, including measure development, best-practice protocols, or addressing ethical assessment issues. The award includes a $750 honorarium, a plaque, and additional travel funding if needed for the required educational workshop. Applicants must be SCCAP members for at least one year, domiciled in the United States, and not serving as elected board members of Division 53. Applications, due February 21, should include a 2-3 page statement describing the nominee's work and impact, two supporting documents attesting to impact, and a current CV submitted as a single PDF to the Director of Operations.
