Racial and Socioeconomic Disparities and Their Effects on the Health of Children Grant

The Society for Pediatric Pathology awards grants to support pilot research examining how racial and socioeconomic disparities affect child health, with a required focus on pathologic (laboratory or anatomic) variables to generate data that can lead to longer-term funding. Award funds may cover capital equipment, reagents and supplies, research-related travel, salary supplementation, service costs (e.g., electron microscopy, histology), and animal care; indirect costs are not allowed.
