About this program

The ASTRO-LUNGevity Residents/Fellows in Radiation Oncology Seed Grant supports early-career researchers conducting basic, translational, or clinical research aimed at improving outcomes for patients with lung cancer. One award of up to $25,000 supports a one-year project, with applications reviewed by the ASTRO Grant Review Panel. Applicants must hold a doctoral degree, be enrolled in a U.S. residency or fellowship program, and commit at least 75% of their professional effort to research. Applications were due through proposalCENTRAL by March 24, 2023.
