The Electrochemical Society’s Industrial Electrochemistry and Electrochemical Engineering Division offers the Ralph E. White Outstanding Student Award to recognize promising graduate researchers in modeling and simulation of electrochemical systems. Up to two recipients receive a certificate and USD $1,000 toward education or research expenses, with nominations accepted annually from March 15 through June 15. Applicants must be enrolled or accepted for enrollment in a graduate program and be current ECS members, with preference for work involving model or algorithm development, numerical simulation, or fundamental electrochemical mechanisms. Nominations require an electronic form, transcripts, research and field-relevance statements, a CV or biography, and a supervisor recommendation letter.
