Reg and Molly Buck Award

About this program

Sempre’s Reg and Molly Buck Award provides up to £3,000 to support post‑doctoral research projects for applicants who received their doctorate within the past five years and whose work aligns with the Society’s aims. Applications are judged by the Sempre Awards Panel on quality, originality, significance and the likelihood the applicant cannot obtain funding elsewhere; decisions are normally notified within six weeks and awards must be taken up within 12 months. Applicants must have been awarded their doctorate no more than five years prior; less established or new researchers are normally expected to provide an academic referee, and successful recipients must submit a brief report (including any ethically approved images) for the Sempre website.
