Regional Scholar Travel Grant

About this program

The Association for Slavic, East European, & Eurasian Studies (ASEEES) offers the Regional Scholar Travel Grant to support faculty, research specialists, and independent scholars from Eastern Europe and Eurasia in presenting papers at the ASEEES Annual Convention. Grants of up to $1,000 are available to subsidize travel costs, with priority given to first-time presenters or junior scholars with limited institutional funding. Applicants must be permanent residents of specified countries, regular ASEEES members, and not students, with a bank account outside of Russia for grant disbursement. Ineligible are those who received the grant in the last three years, affiliate or student members, and individuals without a paper presentation at the convention.
