About this program
The National Council of Teachers of English (NCTE) Research Foundation offers one-year Teacher Research Grants to support classroom research related to the teaching and learning of language, literacy, and culture. The 2027–2028 call will be available by September 2027, with proposals welcomed on topics including equity, curriculum, student learning, and community or home-school literacy. Applicants must be current NCTE members and full-time preK–12 classroom teachers, including teachers on special assignment with a part-time classroom placement, who will remain in that role throughout the grant period.
