About this program

The Internet Society Foundation’s Research Grant Program supports innovative, collaborative research that advances understanding of the Internet and its societal impacts, with awards ranging from US$200,000 to US$500,000. Proposals must address inclusive Internet access, greening the Internet, meaningful connectivity measurement, or development of a trustworthy Internet, and should produce open, actionable knowledge for policy, industry, or technology development. Individual researchers and organizations worldwide are eligible, with underrepresented groups and applicants from the Global Majority strongly encouraged to apply. Applications must be submitted in English, French, or Spanish through Fluxx by 22 May 2026 at 21:00 UTC.
