Research Starter Grant

About this program

The American Society of Pharmacognosy offers one-time Research Starter Grants of $10,000 to support research by early-career investigators; awards do not include indirect costs. Applicants must be active members within eight years of earning a Ph.D. and five years of beginning their first independent career position, with preference given to those without major external funding. Applications are due February 15 and must include a four-page research proposal, budget, current-funding statement, curriculum vitae, and a departmental chair or institutional support letter.
