Research Workshop Grant

About this program

CAG offers Research Workshop Grants to support organizers running workshops that benefit CAG members and trainees (basic and/or clinical), with up to two awards of up to $5,000 each per July 1–June 30 year. Funds may be used to offset trainee costs (registration, travel, accommodation, meals) but not to pay honoraria, and CAG sponsorship must be formally acknowledged on all conference materials and signage. Applicants must be CAG members in good standing for at least three years and may not apply concurrently for the CAG Research Conference Grant; a maximum of two workshops will be supported in any 12‑month period. Applications (Letter of Request and Program of Events) must be submitted via the online form in a single session by September 1 at 11:59 PM ET (late submissions considered for the following year); decisions are notified within one month and post‑program materials and a report on fund usage are required.
