Resident Grant Program

About this program

The ACVO Vision for Animals Foundation offers up to $7,500 per project through its Resident Grant Program to support research in veterinary ophthalmology. Funds may cover supplies, materials, limited equipment, publication costs, and limited technical-support salary, but not resident or faculty salaries, tuition, major equipment, or institutional indirect costs. Applicants must be ABVO-approved residents sponsored by an ABVO mentor, and animal-related studies must include Institutional Animal Care and Use Committee approval; funded results must be presented at the Annual ACVO Conference. Applications are due December 7, 2026, at 11:59 p.m. ET.
