Resident Reviewer Program for SAEMF Grants

About this program

The Society for Academic Emergency Medicine (SAEM) and SAEM Foundation (SAEMF) offer the Resident Reviewer Program, which trains emergency medicine residents to participate in SAEMF grant review and Grants Committee activities. Participants receive faculty mentorship, grant-review training, and experience evaluating and scoring proposals to support future research careers. Applicants must be SAEM members and emergency medicine residents in PGY 2–4 during the July 2027–June 2028 academic year who are pursuing research careers. Applications require a personal statement, program director letter of support, and current CV; applications for the 2027–28 cycle are due by 5 p.m. CT on April 5, 2027.
