The Washington Women's Foundation (WaWF) offers the Rest & Repair Awards, a unique opportunity to recognize and empower Black women leaders in Washington State's nonprofit sector. With a grant of $100,000, the award aims to invest in and celebrate the contributions of Black women, providing them with the financial freedom to further their impact.
Eligibility criteria include being a Black or African American woman, aged 18 or older, and actively involved with nonprofit organizations in Washington State. Nominees must not be affiliated with WaWF or the Rest & Repair Cohort, and the award process is nomination-based, open to the public, and decided by a diverse cohort of Black WaWF members and community members.
