About this program
The ACS Physical Chemistry Division offers the Richard Van Duyne Early Career Award in Experimental Physical Chemistry to recognize outstanding contributions by young investigators in experimental physical chemistry. The recipient receives a $5,000 honorarium, presents research at the subsequent fall ACS meeting, and is honored at the PHYS reception. Nominees must be PHYS members within their first 10 years as independent researchers, with limited extensions for certain former Executive Committee members; current or incoming committee members and previous JPC/PHYS Lectureship recipients are ineligible. Nominations must be submitted by November 30 electronically as one PDF containing the nomination form, letters, CV, selected publications, and attendance assurance; self-nominations are not accepted.
