About this program
Harvard University's Film Study Center administers the Robert E. Fulton III Fellowship in Nonfiction Filmmaking, established in 2003 to honor the late filmmaker Robert Fulton and to support outstanding work in nonfiction film and video. The fellowship is intended to further the projects of emerging nonfiction filmmakers whose work exemplifies Fulton’s independent spirit, inventive and arresting cinematography, engagement with diverse cultures, and strong aesthetic attention to natural landscapes. Applicants should be emerging non-fiction film or video makers with a creative record and project proposals demonstrating those qualities; selection is competitive.
