The Renal Pathology Society (RPS) presents the Robert H. Heptinstall Lifetime Achievement Award to individuals with distinguished, career‑long contributions and pioneering discoveries in renal pathology; the award is given at most once per year and includes a personalized plaque (no monetary prize). Nominees must be RPS members in good standing (any membership category) and selection emphasizes impact on education, basic/translational research, or clinical practice; there is no age restriction. Nominations must be submitted by RPS members (only regular members may nominate) in response to the Nomination & Award Committee Chair’s call (sent by January 30th), with a two‑week submission window, and must include the nominating member’s letter(s) of support and the candidate’s CV.
