Robert & Myrabel Hollowell Scholarship (KMEA) 2026-27

About this program

Kansas Music Educators Association (KMEA) offers the Robert & Myrabel Hollowell Scholarship: one $750 award to a college junior majoring in Music Education and a member of NAfME Collegiate, to be applied to senior-year tuition and presented at the KMEA In-Service Workshop. Applicants must be enrolled as college juniors in 2026–27, hold a minimum 2.5 GPA, be NAfME Collegiate members, and attend the NAfME Collegiate Luncheon during the KMEA In-Service Workshop. Application requires the completed scholarship form, a separate typed essay (minimum 300 words) outlining future goals, and a sponsoring professor’s letter of recommendation explaining how the award would benefit the student and Music Education. Complete materials must be postmarked by February 1, 2027 and sent by mail or email to KMEA Vice‑President Jamie Minneman at Barton Community College.
