About this program

Community Foundation of Noble County administers the Robinson, John E. and Joan E. Scholarship Fund, established in memory of William (Bill) Robinson, awarding four one‑time scholarships of $1,400 annually to support Noble County high school seniors pursuing post‑secondary education. Awards cover tuition, books, and academic fees (not housing) and may be used for certificate, vocational, associate, or bachelor’s programs at any accredited college or university in any field; priority is given to residents of Noble County, especially students from Central Noble, Churubusco, East Noble, and West Noble high schools. Applicants must be high school seniors and apply via the Community Foundation of Noble County Scholarship Apply Portal (create an account, take the eligibility quiz, complete matched scholarship applications and the CFNC Main Application with essays, references, and activities) and submit all materials by January 14, 2027 at 11:00 PM; acceptance/deferral is managed by emailed forms (deferment inquiries: Jennifer@cfnoble.org or 260‑894‑3335).
