About this program

The APA Society for the Advancement of Psychotherapy (Division 29), in partnership with Division 42 in alternating years, offers the Rosalee G. Weiss Lecture for Outstanding Leaders in Psychology to recognize leaders in psychology or related arts and sciences whose work has influenced the field. The recipient presents a lecture at the annual APA convention and receives a $1,000 honorarium from the American Psychological Foundation. Nominees may be submitted by others or self-nominated and must be supported by a nomination letter describing their credentials and contributions, along with a current CV. Materials must be submitted electronically as one PDF by December 31 of even-numbered years to the Professional Awards Committee; in odd-numbered years, nominations go to Division 42.
