Rotary Education Scholarship Fund

About this program

The Rotary Education Foundation Scholarship Fund, established by the Macon Rotary Club and administered by the Community Foundation of Central Georgia, provides renewable scholarships to deserving, needy undergraduate students to attend accredited colleges or universities full time. Awards vary, at least one new recipient is selected annually, and scholarships may be renewed for up to four years; preference is given to Central Georgia residents (Bibb County preferred) while out-of-state applicants are considered only if attending Mercer University or Wesleyan College. Selection is based on scholastic ability (grades/test scores), demonstrated financial need, and good character; applicants must be full-time undergraduates and provide the name and email of one academic reference who will submit a recommendation via the foundation’s scholarship portal, with applications submitted through the Community Foundation (deadline typically Feb. 28).
