Ruminant Reproduction Symposium (RRS) Travel Award

The New Zealand Society of Animal Production offers Ruminant Reproduction Symposium (RRS) Travel Awards to support New Zealand scientific personnel in attending the quadrennial International Ruminant Reproduction Symposium and maintaining international engagement in ruminant reproduction research. Eligible applicants must have worked a minimum of two years in a New Zealand research organisation (including universities); scientists, technicians, research associates and postgraduate students may apply and need not be NZSAP members. Individual awards are generally up to $3,000 (adjusted for inflation) and preference is given to applicants presenting or serving in official roles. Applications use the Society’s Animal Science award format, are submitted to the Executive Secretary (invited from January of the year prior; must be received by 31 October preceding the RRS), selections are made by the NZSAP Management Committee with the NZSAP-nominated ICAR representative, and successful recipients must submit a report confirming travel and appropriate use of funds.
