SALA Academic Award (Saskatchewan students in landscape architecture)

About this program

SALA (Saskatchewan Association of Landscape Architects) offers the annual SALA Academic Award of CAD 3,000 to Saskatchewan residents enrolled in a CSLA/LAAC‑accredited bachelor’s or master’s program in landscape architecture anywhere in the world to support their studies. Applicants must be Saskatchewan residents (validated by a current Saskatchewan health card or acceptable alternate proof) and enrolled in an accredited/recognized landscape architecture program; landscape‑option/environmental design programs are not accepted and international degrees must have home‑country accreditation. Selection is based on academic standing, character, leadership, community and field experience; applicants must submit the SALA application form, an official transcript (no screenshots), and referee letters sent directly to the Chair, assembled as a single PDF (references excepted) under 5 MB and 15 pages to StudentAward@sala.sk.ca by September 30 each year. Selected recipients may be asked to provide original documentation and references may be contacted to verify authenticity.
