The AOCS Surfactants and Detergents Division offers the Samuel Rosen Memorial Award to recognize significant advances, applications, or cumulative achievements in surfactant chemistry, particularly within industrial practice. The recipient receives a plaque, a complimentary Division meal ticket, and an opportunity to present an award lecture at the AOCS Annual Meeting. Eligible nominees are scientists or technicians who have spent most of their careers in industry and have demonstrated notable contributions to surfactant chemistry. Nominations require a letter describing the candidate’s research and service, at least three letters of support, and a curriculum vitae listing publications and patents.
