Schlemmer, Chuck Memorial Scholarship Fund

About this program

Community Foundation of Noble County offers the Chuck Schlemmer Memorial Scholarship, a one-time $1,000 award for a West Noble High School senior planning to attend a 4-year public college or university; funds may be used for tuition, books, and academic fees (not housing). Applicants must have a high school GPA between 3.00 and 3.85, with preference given to students pursuing social studies fields (anthropology, economics, geography, history, political science, sociology) or to those who have completed at least one season of cross country or track. Applicants must complete the CFNC Grant Interface process (create/log in, take the eligibility quiz, and submit the CFNC Main Application plus any matched scholarship applications), include the required essay on endurance/overcoming hardship, and submit all materials by January 14, 2027 at 11:00 pm.
