Scholarship of Teaching and Learning (SoTL) Research Grant

About this program

The Society for the Teaching of Psychology (STP) offers small Scholarship of Teaching and Learning (SoTL) Research Grants to support SoTL projects, with applications due November 1 for funding in the following calendar year. Grants fund projects at any stage (materials design, data collection, manuscript preparation) but applicants must demonstrate a high likelihood the project will yield a product suitable for presentation or publication in a peer-reviewed outlet; STP encourages applications from colleagues from underrepresented groups. Eligibility is limited to STP members who teach psychology at 4-year colleges/universities, 2-year colleges, or high schools, and funds may be used for research materials, participant incentives, travel, stipends, or dissemination, with awards typically split among multiple recipients and partial funding possible.
