SCP Fellows Award

About this program

The Society for Consumer Psychology (SCP) awards the SCP Fellows Award as its highest honorary recognition for seasoned scholars who have made outstanding and unusual contributions to consumer psychology through sustained research and service; the award is honorary (no monetary prize) and up to three Fellows may be named annually. Typical nominees have received their Ph.D. 15+ years earlier, and evaluation focuses on research impact, refereed publications and citation influence, institutional and field leadership, and long‑term service to the field. Eligibility requires current and prior SCP membership of at least one year, active engagement in advancing consumer psychology at the time of nomination, and at least five years of acceptable professional experience post‑Ph.D.; a current SCP member (self‑nomination allowed) must submit a confidential 1–2 page nomination letter addressing the criteria plus the nominee’s CV, with nominations due October 15 each year.
