SCPAB Research Awards – 2020 Extension RFA

The Simons Foundation’s Simons Collaboration on Plasticity and the Aging Brain (SCPAB) offers invited two-year extension awards to expand previously funded research on mechanisms of resilience, maintenance, and plasticity in the aging brain. Funding is distributed per investigator at $250,000 per year, or $375,000 per year for investigators participating in multiple projects, including indirect costs. Applicants must be current 2020 SCPAB award recipients with a Ph.D., M.D., or equivalent and a faculty or equivalent position at an eligible research institution; the investigator team should remain largely unchanged. Domestic and foreign nonprofit organizations are eligible, with no citizenship or country restrictions, and applications were due through proposalCENTRAL by February 1, 2023.
