About this program
The Searle Scholars Program provides approximately 15 new awards annually to support research described in successful applications. Each award provides $450,000 over three years, paid in annual installments to an eligible tax-exempt 501(c)(3) institution. Awardees must attend the Annual Searle Scholars Meeting and submit annual fiscal reports, scientific updates, and final scientific and fiscal reports; supported publications must acknowledge the program. Selection is conducted without discrimination based on age, race, religion, sex, disability, or national origin.
