Seed Grant — Dutch Society for Demography (NVD)

About this program

The Dutch Society for Demography (NVD) offers an annual Seed Grant of up to €1,500 to support master's students and PhD candidates conducting research at the intersection of demography and society for defined activities such as additional data collection, coding/transcription, or conference/workshop attendance. Applicants may request up to €1,500 from an annual budget of €1,500, and awarded funds must be expended in the following calendar year. Eligibility is limited to master's students and PhD candidates for their own research; applications must be a single A4 page including a brief budget and submitted by email to info@nvdemografie.nl, with the deadline listed on the NVD "News" page. A jury selects and announces the recipient at Demography Day and may opt not to award the grant if submissions lack sufficient quality.
