About this program
The Arts & Science Council (ASC) offers SEED Grants to support Mecklenburg County creatives by providing mentorship opportunities and recognizing the quality of their artistic work. Each recipient receives a $3,000 award, with the program emphasizing ASC's commitment to Cultural Equity. Eligibility is limited to Mecklenburg County-based creatives over the age of 18 who are either mentored by ASC Fellows or whose work merits recognition. Nominees for the inaugural class are selected by ASC Fellows, supporting projects across various art forms.
