Seedcorn Research Grants

About this program

The European Association of Social Psychology (EASP) offers Seedcorn Research Grants to fund preliminary or pilot social-psychology research — including projects developed at EASP Summer Schools — to help investigators develop projects that may lead to larger-scale funding. Awards are limited to full EASP members (or former Summer School groups); applicants must be members in good standing and an individual may receive only one seedcorn grant within five years (Post‑Summer School grants excluded). Grants typically provide up to €3,000 for participant compensation, consumables, equipment or travel; proposals must specify theoretical rationale, methods, feasibility, timeline and dissemination, adhere to open‑science practices where possible, and will be evaluated on originality and contribution to social psychology; apply using the EASP Grant Application Form to office@easp.eu with submissions due March 15 and September 15 (applications must be received at least three months before the intended start).
