SERA-LSA Doctoral Dissertation Research Grant

About this program

The Social and Economic Rights Associates (SERA), in collaboration with the Law and Society Association, offers up to five annual $5,000 grants to support doctoral dissertation research explicitly focused on social and economic rights. Funds may be used in any manner that advances the dissertation, and no budget is required. Applicants must be enrolled in a doctoral program at an institution of higher education and have formally accepted their dissertation proposal. Applications must include a CV, cover letter, project title and abstract, research description, and a letter from the dissertation chair, and are due March 1 at 11:59 p.m. Eastern Time.
