Short Term Conference and Travel Scholarships

About this program

Calouste Gulbenkian Foundation offers Short Term Conference and Travel Scholarships to support Armenia-based master's and PhD students, early-career academics and researchers to attend international seminars, conferences, short courses and short research visits abroad (normally short-term; visits up to three months may be funded in exceptional cases). Awards are fixed amounts paid in euros and open to all research fields with priority for humanities, social sciences, and projects related to environmental sustainability and climate change; applications are submitted online via a MyGulbenkian account and reviewed monthly (call open 19 Jan–4 Dec 2026). Applicants must be based in Armenia and under 35 at the time of application, and must apply no earlier than six months and no later than two months before the scheduled event; consult the Requirements, Criteria and Conditions document for funding levels and required supporting documents.
