Shumaker, Nathan Memorial Scholarship Fund

About this program

Community Foundation of Noble County offers the Shumaker, Nathan Memorial Scholarship Fund — a single one‑time award of approximately $250 annually for a Noble County student in their second or subsequent year of post‑high‑school education who received some or all of their K–12 instruction via homeschooling or a Christian school. Eligible applicants may be enrolled in certificate, vocational, associate, or bachelor programs at any accredited college or university in any field; funds must be used for tuition, books, and academic fees (not housing), and applicants may reapply in future years. Apply through the CFNC Scholarship Portal (GrantInterface) by completing the CFNC Main Application and any matched scholarships; deadline is January 14, 2027 at 11:00 PM, and scholarship acceptance, deferral, or payment procedures require contacting the foundation.
