The Shurl and Kay Curci Foundation annually awards competitive research grants to advance basic science in service to humanity, prioritizing projects that foster a sustainable future and have far-reaching, lasting implications. Funding is available only to proposals submitted by nominees from the following institutions: California Institute of Technology, Carnegie Mellon University, Georgia Institute of Technology, Stanford University, University of California Berkeley, and University of California San Francisco. Applicants must be nominated by one of those institutions and proposals are evaluated through the Foundation’s competitive nomination process; unsolicited grant requests are not accepted.
