SIAM Activity Group on Computational Science and Engineering Early Career Prize

About this program

The Society for Industrial and Applied Mathematics (SIAM) Activity Group on Computational Science and Engineering awards this biennial prize to one post-Ph.D. early-career researcher for outstanding, influential contributions to computational science and engineering. The award recognizes peer-reviewed research published in English and includes a certificate and reimbursement of reasonable travel expenses to the ceremony at the 2027 SIAM Conference on Computational Science and Engineering. Eligible candidates must have earned their Ph.D. within seven years of the award year (with possible exceptions for career interruptions), and current graduate students are not eligible. Nominations require a nominator’s letter, the candidate’s CV, and two or three expert letters of support; the next call is expected March 1, 2028.
