SIAM Activity Group on Supercomputing Early Career Prize

About this program

The Society for Industrial and Applied Mathematics (SIAM) Activity Group on Supercomputing offers its Early Career Prize biennially to recognize outstanding contributions to algorithms research and development for parallel scientific and engineering computing. The 2028 recipient will receive a certificate, an invitation to present a plenary talk at the SIAM Conference on Parallel Processing for Scientific Computing, and reimbursement for reasonable travel expenses. Candidates must be current graduate students or have received a Ph.D. or equivalent in 2022 or later, with at least one relevant peer-reviewed publication dated from January 1, 2025, through December 31, 2027. Nominations, due March 1, 2027, must include a nominator’s letter, the candidate’s CV, a citation for the key paper, and two or three expert support letters.
