About this program

Sigma Theta Tau International (STTI) and the Southern Nursing Research Society (SNRS) offer an annual collaborative research grant of up to $5,000 USD to support pilot and developmental nursing research; funds do not cover expenses incurred prior to the funding date (announcement lists a 1 April deadline and 1 August funding date, year unspecified). Eligible applicants must be members in good standing of both STTI and SNRS, be a registered nurse with a current license, and hold at least a master’s degree or be enrolled in a doctoral program; proposed research must be ready to implement when funded and may not be part of an academic degree. Applications require a completed research packet and signed research agreement submitted via STTI’s online system, and awardees must submit a final report, an abstract to STTI’s Virginia Henderson Global Nursing e-Repository, and an abstract to SNRS while crediting the grant in all publications and presentations.
